Seven etchings with engraving and aquatint on varying paper (of twelve). 45,5 × 34,7 cm (52,2 × 41,8 cm) (17 ⅞ × 13 ⅝ in. (20 ½ × 16 ½ in.)). Once inscribed, signed and dated in pencil below the image: Künstler und Muse. M. Klinger 17.8.1900. On the reverse twice the stamp: M. Klinger NACHLASS / once lower right the stamp: M. Klinger NACHLASS. Catalogue raisonné: Singer 232, Singer 233 II of VII, 5th print, Singer 236 V, Singer 238 V of VI, Singer 241 zw. II and III, Singer 242 (discarded plate), Singer 243 II (discarded plate). Supplement: “Vom Thema Christus. Ein Cyclus von acht Federzeichnungen“. Circa 1880.
