Pen in black and brown ink on cardboard on paper / pen in black ink, black framed, on paper. 9,7 × 12 cm ( 9,7 × 16,1 cm) / 10,6 × 13,8 cm (3 ⅞ × 4 ¾ in. ( 3 ⅞ × 6 ⅜ in.) / 4 ⅛ × 5 ⅜ in.). Sheet 1: Signed (hardly legible)in ink at thelower right and indistinctly dated in the last figure: HSpeckter [...] 1867. Inscribed in pen and black ink on the reverse: Hans Abends in seiner ersten Wohnung in Weimar bei Frau Donat. Sheet 2: After the painting by Otto Speckter „Das Atelier in der Catharinenstraße“ von 1853 (Braunfels 768).
