Pencil on wove paper. 13,1 × 20,5 cm (5 ⅛ × 8 ⅛ in.). Inscribed on the upper left within the image: blau [and twice] Berg. On the reverse lower left with the estate remark of Johan Christian Dahl: Friedrich f. Inscribed on the lower centre in pencil: 21 [crossed out and corrected to:] 37. Catalogue raisonné: Grummt 329. On the reverse: Top of a hill with stones. Tiny pencil sketch. Skillfully restored.
