Oil and coloured chalk on canvas, plastic strings. Relined. Dimensions without strings (with strings): 125 × 153 cm (179 × 153 cm) (49 ¼ × 60 ¼ in. (70 ½ × 60 ¼ in.)). On the reverse inscribed and signed by Gerhard Hoehme with yellow chalk: Lieber Peter Brüning, ich habe Deinem schönen chaotischen Raum eine Öffnung + eine Ablenkung zugefügt – am 14.12.1974 [sic] G. Hoehme. Catalogue raisonné: Otten 548 / Hoehme/Schreier 73-04.
