Watercolour, coloured chalk and pencil on covered cardboard. 65 × 100 cm (25 ⅝ × 39 ⅜ in.). Inscribed, monogrammed and inscribed with the artist's signet in pencil lower rigth: Zu Sturm (Prospekt) ML. A stage design sketch for Frank Martin's opera "The Tempest" (Der Sturm), Bremen, 1992. Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without losses. At the lower edge left one small tear (0,9 cm). In places slightly bumped, mainly in the corners. The upper right corner with fine diagonal creases. The paper due to the artist's technique in places slightly wavy and with traces from the artist's workshop. Isolated, small textile fibers enclosed in the paint layer. Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs. On the reverse with traces from the artist's workshop, at the lower right edge one small remnant of brown tape
