Oil on canvas, with artist's framing. 64,5 × 78,5 cm (25 ⅜ × 30 ⅞ in.). Lower left signed and dated (incised into the wet paint): Siepmann 87. On the stretcher signed and inscribed in coloured pencil in brown as well as with the directional arrow: heinrich Siepmann Mülheim an der Ruhr Beethovenstr. 19 B. Catalogue raisonné: Ullrich 887. Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The canvas is not relined and mounted on the original stretcher. Very isolated minuscule brown soiling particles. Above the upper left corner of the centre rectangle one small retouch (2,5 x 1,5) with light craquelure and difference in surface shine. Under ultraviolet light otherwise no further retouchings or repairs visible
