Diptych: Cinnabar over offset on Japan paper on wood and cinnabar on Japan paper on wood. Each: 59,3 × 84 cm (23 ⅜ × 33 ⅛ in.). The left painting with the signature stamp in red in the lower left corner. Each signed and dated on the upper wooden bar on the reverse: R. HUANG '98..

Condition Report: Left painting: Fine harmonious overall appearance. The paper surface slightly scuffed due to the material. Isolated minuscule scratches in the upper paper layer with sporadic paint loss. On the reverse, the rear outer corners lightly bumped. At the upper outer edge two small dents.

Right painting: Fine harmonious overall appearance. At the upper edge right of centre a minor, light grey soiling. On the reverse, in the overlap in places slightly soiled. At the upper outer edge two small dents
