Oil on cotton. 100 × 240 cm (39 ⅜ × 94 ½ in.). Signed, titled, inscribed, dated and signed again in black felt-tip pen on the reverse: René Wirths "Schuh" (Turnschuh) Öl/Nessel 100 x 240 cm 2008 René.

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The canvas is not relined and mounted on the original stretcher. The corners of the canvas as well as the edges in the overlap with minor soiling traces. Mainly in the lower right margin, slight scuff marks. Above the lower edge right of centre, one diagonal red scuff mark (24 cm). In the motif between the left and the middle green Adidas stripes brownish liquid stains. Under ultraviolet light no retouchings or repairs visible
