Paintstick on anodised aluminium plate, in the original wooden crate. 120 × 60 cm (47 ¼ × 23 ⅝ in.). Signed, titled and dated in black felt-tip pen on the reverse: FRANK GERRITZ # CODED LANGUAGE # - DAY ONE - 2001.

Condition Report: In good condition. The edges without loss of substance. Along the edges of the black colour field, minimal surface scuff marks that are inherent to the material, with subtle differences in surface shine. On the lower edge of the aluminium plate, to the right of the colour field, on miniscule, yellowish stain. On the reverse, mounted on a metal mounting device. Fine, harmonious overall appearance
