Oil on canvas. 89,2 × 116 cm (35 ⅛ × 45 ⅝ in.). On the shoe dated and signed: 26/10/53 CPLY. On the stretcher inscribed with felt-tip pen in red by another hand: UNIJAMBISTE. On the reverse, on the frame a label of Whitford Fine Art, London, (there with differing title) and a handwritten label of the exhibition Paris 1963 (see below). Framed
