Watercolour and pencil on paper (from a sketch book). 37,9 × 28,7 cm (14 ⅞ × 11 ¼ in.). Signed lower right: C. Ehrhardt. Titled, signed and dated in purple coloured pencil on the reverse: "Mond- gestorben, Klage – tief" C. Ehrhardt April 20.

Condition Report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The sheet edges without tears or losses. In the lower left corner with a faint nick, barely noticeable from the front. The paper, due to the artist's technique, slightly wavy. Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs
