Watercolour on thin laid paper. 48,1 × 63,7 cm (18 ⅞ × 25 ⅛ in.). Signed and dated in pencil lower right: Gilles 1948.

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The sheet edges without losses. In one place at the centre of the upper edge and in two places at the lower edge left of centre, short tears (max. 1,1 cm) each backed with paper on the reverse. The paper overall lightly creased, mainly in the lower margin. At the centre of the upper and the lower edge, each a minuscule mounting hole. On the reverse, in places, faint scuff marks. In the upper corners mounted with paper adhesive strips onto the support cardboard
