Oil on canvas. 130,5 × 162,8 cm (51 ⅜ × 64 ⅛ in.). Signed and dated in pencil below the torso motif on the right: Wunderlich 66. On the stretcher, two labels with handwritten work information from Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart and Kunstverein für Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf. Catalogue raisonné: Not in the catalogue raisonné by Jensen. Framed

Condition Report: Harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The canvas is not relined and is mounted on the original stretcher. Along the edges, scuff marks and in places slight paint losses from the frame. In the left and the upper left margins, sporadic pinpoint paint chippings. In the lower margin, a few minuscule dents from the reverse. Mainly in the lower colour rectangle, irregular, slightly patchy colour gradient; there also one light, circular scuff mark. Ultraviolet light reveals minor corrections and retouchingsto at the left and right margin as well as in the lower part of the torso
