Information

Gouache, acrylic and pencil on red paper. 31,3 × 46,4 cm (12 ⅜ × 18 ¼ in.). Signed and dated in pencil lower right: Laabs 86. Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The bottom edge slightly uneven; the sheet edges otherwise without losses. In the upper right corner one minuscule closed tear (0,7 cm), backed with adhesive tape . In the lower right corner area, two minuscule losses to the upper paint layer, partially due to the artist's technique. At the centre of each edge, faint yellowish discolourations and adhesive residues as well as small pinpoint paint losses (max. 0,3 x 1,8 cm) due to removal of former frontal adhesive tape mounting. On the reverse, in places, traces from the artist's workshop and small stains. In the upper right corner, a small liquid glue residue. The sheet mounted in the upper corners with Japan paper onto the support cardboard
