Oil and egg tempera on canvas. 110 × 90 cm (43 ¼ × 35 ⅜ in.). Monogrammed and dated upper right: DZ 94. Catalogue raisonné: Emperor 117. Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The canvas is not relined and is mounted on the original stretcher. Under ultraviolet light, mainly in the lower area, in places slight scuff marks visible, as well as a surface scratch running diagonally downwards from the right edge (44 cm); otherwise, no retouching or repairs visible. At the top and bottom of the right edge, each a small indentation; the lower one with slight paint chipping. At the lower right edge, also a small vertical flaking of the top paint layer (0,5 x 2 cm)
