Pen and India ink and pencil on thin paper. 22,3 × 17,7 cm (8 ¾ × 7 in.). Dedicated in pencil on the reverse: A Monsieur René Morax d'un admirateur de ses oeuvres uniques et purement litteraires sans musique. Titled and inscribed in pen and black ink: CHEVAL DE TROIE A terminer. On the back of the frame, a label with handwritten work information of Galerie M. Knoedler Zurich AG and a label of the exhibition Munich 1985. Catalogue raisonné: Thévoz 756. Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without losses. The left edge slightly uneven, along the sheet edges sporadic minuscule tears (up to 0,8 cm). The lower left corner with a minuscule faint crease mark. Left of the sheet centre, several faint liquid stains; the paper here in places thinned and the surface slightly roughened with light, subtle differences in colour and surface shine. On the reverse, in the upper corners remnants of white paper tape
