Information

Pencil on paper (from a sketch book). 25,2 × 33,6 cm (9 ⅞ × 13 ¼ in.). At lower left, the estate blindstamp: Nachlass Walter Dexel, and the work number: 21/12.

Condition Report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges in places with slight crease marks, otherwise without losses. In the upper right corner, a minuscule, barely noticeable tear (0,2 cm). In the lower right corner, one diagonal crease mark (3,5 cm). The paper in places slightly scuffed, due to the artist's technique, and with scattered minuscule pinpoint foxing. The upper corners, each with up to 2 minuscule mounting holes. On the reverse, in the upper corners remnants of paper adhesive mountings, slightly pressing to the front. Atop, remounted with Japan paper onto the support cardboard
