Information

Carrara marble. 61 x 45 x 26 cm (24 x 17 ¾ x 10 ¼ in.). Last technical execution in marble presumably by Carl Wichmann (1775-1836). Catalogue raisonné: Not in the catalogue raisonné by von Simson. Original patina, traces of a inscription on the reverse, loss at the right Gewandpartie, minimal Steinberieb at the Stirn. A bored hole on the underside the bust war offensichtlich for the Dübel zu a not more vorhandenen Piedestal envisioned.
