Information

Marble. 57,5 × 60 × 38 cm (height with original marble base: 72,5 cm) (22 ⅝ × 23 ⅝ × 15 in. (height with original marble base: 28 ½ in.)). Monogrammed, inscribed and dated on the reverse at the bottom: C. R. Fec. 1843. Catalogue raisonné: Von Simson 261. With a classical column (mahogany veneered, the flutes lined with gilt bronze, on wooden base). Russia, circa 1790. Height (without base): 89 cm (35 in.). Minimal loss of substance in the marble, partially repaired (slightly discoloured in the base).
