Information

Brush in grey as well as brush and pen and India ink over pencil on paper. 36,8 x 29,7 cm (50 x 33,8 cm) (14 ½ x 11 ¾ in. (19 ⅝ x 13 ¼ in.)). Signed and dated inside the image lower right: Fidus. - 93. On the reverse lower left the collector's mark in violet: EUGEN LUCIUS SCHÖNSTADT; next to it to the right inscribed in pen and black ink: No 30. Slight scuff marks, minimal foxing.

Formerly collection Dr. Eugen Lucius, Frankfurt a.M./Schönstadt (between 1893 and 1903 acquired directly from the artist, thence by descent to the present owner)
