Chalk, heightened with white, on brown paper, firmly mounted by the artist on green cardboard. 44,9 x 34,7 cm (55,8 x 43,5 cm) (17 ⅝ x 13 ⅝ in. (22 x 17 ⅛ in.)). Signed and dated lower left: Fidus. Mai 94. On the cardboard lower right titled in pen and black ink: „Lianenschaukel“. On the reverse lower left the violet stamp, numbered with pen in black: Eugen Lucius Frankfurt a.M. No. 7. Foxing, imperfections in the margins of the cardboard.

Formerly collection Dr. Eugen Lucius, Frankfurt a.M. (between 1894 and 1903, acquired directly from the artist, thence by descent to the present owner)
