Oil on panel. 64,5 x 49,3 cm (25 ⅜ x 19 ⅜ in.). On the reverse remains of a seal, scratched away / on the reverse embossings: Hand [Guild mark of Antwerp]; GAN (joined) [Monogram stamp of the panel maker Guilliam Aertssen, identifiable as 1612-1625]. Catalogue raisonné: Accompanied by a certificate by Wilhelm von Bode, Berlin, dated 27 October 1927, in which work described as "ein ganz eigenhändiges Werk des van Dyck, das besonders wirkungsvoll und sympathisch, dazu gut erhalten ist“ (in the original). Repaired. At the left half of the face old overpaintings. Framed
