Oil on canvas, laid down on cardboard. 13,2 x 20,3 cm (5 ¼ x 8 in.). Lower left (presumably) monogrammed: Ce We [= Carl Wilhelm]. Dated and inscribed lower right: 1880. Klus. 24 Sep. On the reverse in ballpoint pen a note of ownership by W. E. Ludwig Blucke.

Formerly W. E. Ludwig Blucke, Chemnitz (acquired in May 1933 from the Saxon Kunstverein, Dresden)
