Zinc engraving on heavy paper. 65,2 × 46 cm (78 × 61,5 cm) (25 ⅝ × 18 ⅛ in. (30 ¾ × 24 ¼ in.)). Each signed and inscribed with number within the sequence. Catalogue raisonné: Heusinger von Waldegg 464. Sheet 4 (of 6) from the set: Die Zeichen. Cologne, Kairos-Verlag, 1920. Supplement: Komposition (A-Z supplement). Reproduction of an India ink drawing. 16.9 × 13.2 cm (20.8 × 16.9 cm) (6 5/8 × 5 1/4 in. (8 1/4 × 6 5/8 in.)). Provenance: August Sander, Köln (thence by descent to the present owner). The original drawing of the reproduction is from 1928 (Heusinger von Waldegg 311). The drawing was published in the journal of the Kölner Progressiven, a-z, issue 10, August 1930.
