Chalk over pencil on brown coloured paper. 20,6 × 29,6 cm (8 ⅛ × 11 ⅝ in.). Catalogue raisonné: The works will beincluded in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné of Erwin Speckter by Henry Smith. Two supplements: 1) Scorpio. Chalk on brown coloured paper, 16,3 × 25,2 cm 2) Lion. Pen and black ink on brown coloured paper, 17,5 × 24,5 cm. Minimal staining, imperfections in the margin.

Collection of the Hamburg artist family Speckter

The drawing shows "Juno/Planetoid". All three sheets are preparatory studies for a glass ceiling with planets and zodiac signs for Villa Abendroth, Hamburg (see Alexis Chateauneuf, "Architectura Domestica", 1839).
