Pastel on brown paper. 65,5 × 49,9 cm (25 ¾ × 19 ⅝ in.). On the reverse lower left the stamp in blue-black: Nachlass Georg Tappert; with the confirmation by the widow, Annalise Tappert. Framed

Condition Report: Harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without losses. Along the edges several closed and back-fibered tears (up to 3 cm) and in upper left corner a short tear (1,1 cm). The paper mainly in the margins in places slightly scuffed. In the corners slight creases (max. 9 cm) as well as in of the centre of the image a longer horizontal crinkle crease (14,5 cm). In the corners as well as at the left and upper edge each in the centre up to 3 mounting holes. In lower right corner one small water stain (3 x 3 cm). Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs. On the reverse in the upper corners mounted with Japan paper onto the support cardboard
