Etching and drypoint and aquatint in brown on heavy cream paper. 31,5 × 45,4 cm (46,9 × 61,8 cm) (12 ⅜ × 17 ⅞ in. (18 ½ × 24 ⅜ in.)). Signed. Catalogue raisonné: Knesebeck 99 VIII b (of XIII b). One of approx. 300 copies of the 1908 edition of this state. Sheet 1 (of 7) from the set: Bauernkrieg.

Condition Report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. Good, strong print. The sheet edges without tears or losses. The paper in the mat window with minor time staining. In the margins, very few miniscule light brown foxing. To the left of artist's signature, one small pinpoint surface abrasion. On the reverse, along the upper edge three small rests of paper tape and one remnant of textile adhesive strip from former mounting
