Acrylic, coloured chalk and pencil on paper. 61,5 × 86,7 cm (24 ¼ × 34 ⅛ in.). Signed and titled in blue coloured chalk at upper edge: Middendorf - "Guitar" II, and dated in blue coloured chalk lower left: 80. Framed

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The left sheet edge slightly unevenly cut; below the centre with a short, vertical incision (2,9 cm) as well as in the lower area with multiple tears, closed recto with acid-free paper adhesive tape (8,2 x 3 cm). Along the upper edge, in places thinnings with some losses due to removal of former adhesive mounting. The paper overall, due to the artist's technique, with slight scuff marks and slightly undulated. In the margins, isolated faint shell-shaped handling creases as well as, at the lower edge right of centre, several slight, vertical crease marks (to 2 cm).
