Information

Gelatin silver print, PE-paper, partially worked and hand-coloured, c. 1999. Unique work. 102,5 x 153 cm (40 ⅜ x 60 ¼ in.). Hand print in the lower left, as well as signed, dated, titled, inscribed with a poem of William Faulkner and dedicated in black and brown India ink. In the entire sheet brownish discolourations of the silver emulsion, especially passages between light and dark parts. With oxidation mottlings in upper corners, lateral and lower edges (punctual copper-silver coloured particels). Waist of gorilla with small retouching. The lower margin area with fingerprints and traces of manual wiping. Individual minor handling creases. White paper's edges slightly unevenly trimmed. Framed
