Model: Johann Carl Schönheit (1730-1805). Bisque porcelain. 36 cm (with base) (14 ⅛ in. (with base)). On the underside of the vase feet: cobalt blue crossed swords mark with star between the pommels / Imprinted marks: 3., 40 / Incised marks: crossed swords and J 0 9 / On the underside of the base: cobalt blue crossed swords mark. Tongue of one serpent missing, small chip on the cover edge and two repaired chips on the base.
