Porcelain, coloured overglaze painting, rich gold decoration. 4,5 cm; Ø 25,5 cm (1 ¾ in.; Ø 10 in.). Crossed swords mark in blue underglaze; imprinted mark in the rim of the base: I; carved, blackened palace number: N=147- / W.

Japanese Palace inventory 1770: "Ein Tafel-Service, mit dem Königl. Pohlnis, und ChurFürstl., Sächsi. Wappen, fein mit Golde und Zierrathen, aufm Boden mit gebundenen Korn-Aehren, und kleinen Blümgen, der Rand sehr reich mit vergoldt Zierrathen eingefaßt... 36 Stück Tafel-Teller", with the later undated revision: "1.
