Catalogue raisonné: Accompanied by a certificate by Margreet Nouwen, Berlin, from 17 October 2014. – The pastel will be included in the catalogue raisonné of pastels, watercolours and gouaches by Max Liebermann by Margreet Nouwen, Berlin (in preparation). Framed

The painting that Max Liebermann completed of the same subject remains lost since the Second World War (Eberle 1901/7). An other version in oil (Eberle 1902/27) is located at Kunsthalle Bremen..
