Vintage. Gelatin silver print. 15,7 x 11,4 cm (17,6 x 12,6 cm) (6 ⅛ x 4 ½ in. (6 ⅞ x 5 in.)). On the reverse the photographer's stamp: "Photograph by Edward Steichen" and inscribed by an unknown hand in pencil: "advert., JWT. Jergens., Oct. 1930"; also numbered in pencil by further hands. On the accompanying frame back panel the collection label of the Buhl Collection with printed work information.
