Coloured chalk on thin paper. 16,6 × 20,4 cm (6 ½ × 8 in.). Monogrammed and dated in pencil lower right: HMP 1911. Framed

The pictured person is most probably Charlotte (Lotte) Pechstein, the wife of the artist
Condition Report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges partially somewhat unevenly cut, otherwise without tears or losses. The colours fresh and vibrant. In the lower left, one trace from the artist's workshop. In the right upper corner, one slight crease mark (2 cm); there, the paper also slightly scuffed. Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs. On the reverse, in the upper corners small rests of white paper mounting
