At the evening auction on 4 June, Grisebach will present a wide-ranging selection of works, from classical modernism to the contemporary era, the breadth of which is rarely seen. The centrepiece is Georg Kolbe’s ‘Tänzerinnen-Brunnen’ (Dancers’ Fountain) – a work of great artistic and historical significance. Further highlights include works by Paula Modersohn-Becker, Max Beckmann, Emil Nolde, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Konrad Klapheck, Eugen Schönebeck, Katharina Fritsch, Daniel Richter, Antony Gormley and Cindy Sherman.
