Titled on the upper stretcher bar: MEERES-STAMM. There also with a label of Galerie Mitchell-Innes & Nash, New York and a stamp CFA Berlin.

Condition Report: In good condition. The canvas is not relined and mounted on the original stretcher. Very fine, hardly perceptible craquelure at the top right. Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs. Very fine harmonious overall appearance.
