Bronze with black-brown patina. 86 × 45,5 × 28 cm. (33 ⅞ × 17 ⅞ × 11 in.) At the right side of the buttock signed: B. HOETGER. There too a signet of the Propyläen Verlag and the foundry mark: GUSS BARTH RINTELN. Catalogue raisonné: Werner 58 (differing dimensions). 1st version. One of 2 later casts (of 9 planned) after the original bronze from the collection of the Böttcherstraße GmbH, Bremen. Berlin, Propyläen Verlag, presumably 1970s.  [3060]
