”Buchenwald mit Bach”. 1890s

Pastel on cardboard. 50,8 × 34,5 cm. (20 × 13 ⅝ in.) Lower right by another hand later incised: L. Ury. On the reverse a round label, inscribed with the estate number in blue chalk: 544. On the right above this a label with the printed cat. no. of the auction catalogue: LESSER URY 160. There too a label with the typed certificate of authenticity by Dr. Karl Schwarz, director of the museum Tel-Aviv, dated 5 July 1943. Accompanied by a certificate by Dr. Sibylle Groß, Berlin, from 16.4.2024. The pastel will be included in the catalogue raisonné of paintings, pastels, gouaches and watercolours by Lesser Ury by Dr. Sibylle Groß, Berlin.  [3148] Framed
