Lithograph on simili-Japan paper. 45,2 x 33,5 cm (59 x 46,2 cm) (17 ¾ x 13 ¼ in. (23 ¼ x 18 ¼ in.)). Signed, dated, inscribed and (later) inscribed with an English title and dedicated: Der Schornsteinfeger (Probedruck) (The chimney-sweep für Quappi. Catalogue raisonné: Hofmaier 222 A. (of B.). One of the few trial proofs before the edition of 100 numbered copies. Sheet 10 (of 10) from the set: Berliner Reise 1922. I.B. Neumann, Berlin 1922. Imperfections in the margin.
