Woodcut on heavy wove paper. 22,3 × 15 cm (55,5 × 35,5 cm) (8 ¾ × 5 ⅞ in. (21 ⅞ × 14 in.)). Signed. Inscribed lower left: Vorm Spiegel [engl.: In front of the mirror]. Catalogue raisonné: Hofmaier III B (of B). One of presumably 35 copies on this paper.

Condition Report: Harmonious overall appearance. Good, intense print. The vertical sheet edges somewhat uneven and with multiple short tears in the deckle edge, otherwise the edges without tears or losses. Along the upper and the bottom edge severel fine horizontal creases (up to 7 cm). The paper along the edges slightly dusty and in places slightly scuffed, mainly in the upper left margin. In the left margin at the bottom as well as in the upper margin on the right each, a faint crease (13,5 and 9 cm). In raking light visible, a faint crease running diagonally from the upper edge of the motif to the centre (10 cm). Recto and verso, sporadic dark particles enclosed in the paper
