Thread-bound book with 27 lithographs, painted in watercolours by the artist, each on laid paper. Book: 40 x 30,5 cm (15 ¾ x 12 in.). Catalogue raisonné: Hofmaier 330-356. One of 24 numbered copies. Self-published by the Bauersche Gießerei, Frankfurt a.M. 1943. Spine with repairs.

„Laut Inventarliste der Bauerschen Gießerei war dieses Exemplar am 22.10.44 für Erhard Göpel vorgesehen. In einem Nachtrag am Ende der Liste mit Datum vom 19.6.51 wird jedoch Frau Schiller-Vischer, die Enkelin von Georg Hartmann, als Empängerin vermerkt.“ (According to the inventory of the Bauersche Gießerei this copy was on 22.10.44 intended for Erhard Göpel. In an addition at the end of the list dated 19.6.51 the recipient is noted as Frau Schiller-Vischer, the granddaughter of Georg Hartmann) (Beckmann/Gohr 102.4).
