Information

Etching with aquatint on Van Gelder Zonen laid paper. 30 × 25 cm (60 × 44,5 cm) (11 ¾ × 9 ⅞ in. (23 ⅝ × 17 ½ in.)). Signed and titled. Catalogue raisonné: Schiefler/Mosel/Urban 152 II (of II). A copy of the 2nd state.

Condition Report: Harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without tears or losses. The lower left corner lightly bumped with a diagonal slight crease (2 cm). The paper mainly in the margins unevenly time stained and in places faintly stained. Due to the artist's technique, the paper in the plate slightly undulated, and in the upper and the lower left corner, the paper compressed with concentrated creasing (up to 8 cm) due to mounting on the reverse (up to 8 cm). In the lower and the left margin, a few dark brown foxing. On the reverse, at the top and bottom of the left edge, mounted with paper adhesive strips onto the support cardboard, these showing through to the front (to 5,7 x 3,5 cm)
